Our Story

Out of the billions of bottles of wine purchased every year by enthusiasts around the globe, our commitment is to offer only extraordinary wines, and only ones our clients are going to love. We aspire to be the most trusted resource for wine lovers and producers. We offer the best wine selection in the industry and the best guidance to buy wines perfectly suited to your palate.

An incredible thing happens when 20,000 wines are tasted every year. It’s called curation. Our expert wine team and judging panel means we offer an unmatched experience, sourcing wines more broadly, vetting and selecting only the best.

Our judging panel, led by a Master of Wine and a Master Sommelier, carefully reviews and systematically profiles every single wine tasted — those we appreciate and those that wow. In the end, the wines we recommend are wines we stand behind and believe our clients will love.

Being close to the source — the vineyards and wineries we write about everyday — is important to us. That’s why our offices are in the heart of Napa, San Francisco and Los Angeles. If we’re not at our desks, chances are, you’ll be tasting beside us at a winery, or might catch us trekking the vines.
