While in Rome on holiday to attend my cousin's son's wedding I was sporting my old Ghurka Rangefinder bag which had my camera gear. I was taken by the interest so many had in the bag that I was spending more time discussing the quality of the bag. Needles to say, a bidding war started between a couple from Japan and another lady who I believe was in Sweden. The bottom line is that I did not sell the bag and directed them to the Ghurka web site to purchase one. The problem was they wanted mine that was broken in and looked funky. I have been collecting Ghurka bags for decades. The quality is well worth the investment and they hold their value as can be seen on eBay.
