From School, to Work to Play: Ghurka Men's and Women's lines fit the bill in every situation
I first discovered Ghurka when I was in college. A friend whose mother was in fashion and traveled extensively for work gave me a messenger type bag to use for my books. At the time I had no knowledge of the line and the historical context from which this quality leather bag was conceived, but I LOVED it and used it religiously. Later, I passed that bag on to my niece when she went off to school. After college, I purchased an Expediter briefcase for work as I preferred the simple streamlined profile to many of the women's briefcases on the market. More recently, in the last couple of years, I discovered a new line of women's purses and acquired a small double compartment one perfect for travel (I can't recall the name). Ghurka is also my "go to" for travel accessories for gifts and wallets (I love the Men's passport wallet (my women friends and I use them). I miss the SF brick and mortar store, but am happy to be able to order online. My most recent purchase is the small Mara (pictured), as well as the Gazette and Burma bags. Unfortunately, I don't take many photos and this one is not the best representation, but it's the only one I was able to access for this story. To make up for this I will tag my recent favorites below. I absolutely love the quality of my Ghurka collection and will continue to be a loyal customer!
