How to change your story settings

To change the Settings of your story, click on the cog wheel icon at the top right of your editor:



Once the panel is opened, you can adjust the settings of your Page, Text and Elements.


 


Change the general settings of your story in the Page tab, such as the Background color of your story, the Grid Width and the Cover Image.

To change the Background color of your story, click on the color circle on the right. You can select a color directly in the color grid or by entering the HTML color code.

To change the Grid Width, simply click on the size of the grid in the settings panel to enable to the toggle:



Slide the toggle to the desired grid size, or simply enter the size in the adjacent number box.

To disable the cover photo on your story, move the Show Cover toggle to the left. 

Remember to click Save on the bottom right after any changes you've made to your settings.


To change any text settings in your story, click the Text tab in your settings panel.


You'll see options to change the style of the Body, Link, Title, H1, H2 or Quote text. 

Simply click the arrow on the left of the text type to open the settings options.



You can alter the Font, Style, Alignment, Color, Size, Letter Spacing and Line Height and Margins by using the various dropdown menus and toggles.


You can also make changes to your font as you are writing your story. Highlight the text you are working on and click the three dots on the far right to make quick changes:



Another side panel will open on the right with additional text formatting options:



Making changes here will affect only the highlighted text in your story. Make sure to select Save when the changes have been made.
