Destruction and Creation

Skateboarding means destruction and creation, I believe you would be lost if you had one without the other. I'm not a very competitive person, yet skateboarding appeals to me. Also, it has two aspects to it which push and motivate me: focus and resiliency. In order to have a successful run, a skater has to apply tremendous focus because if their balance is off then they will fall off their skateboard. As well as the amount of residency it takes to grasp the mechanics of skateboarding in order to prevent injury while skating even by knowing how to fall properly or mastering a maneuver. Sort of an art form, in which the skater is the paint brush and the plywood is their canvas.
